The foundation of this institution Shri Darshan Mahavidyalaya, Dibiyapur Road, Auraiya was laid down on 23th June 2001 by GYAN Bharti Educational Society. The college is situated in Auraiya and got affiliated from Kanpur University (Presently Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur) in the year 2001 and at the moment boasts of more than 2,100 students. At present, the college runs courses of Traditional, Engineering, Computer, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Paramedical, Science, Nursing and many more.
The college was made with the motive of educating the people of Auraiya and all the nearby areas.The institute not only runs educational classes but also organizes a number of sporting and extra-curricular activities.The institute is dedicated in shaping up highly educated professionals who are extremely skilled and all-rounders in every aspect of life.
